The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), effective January 1, 2020, reinforces the protection of personal information for California residents. In 2023, several other states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Utah, and Virginia, enacted personal information protection acts of their own (collectively, the "Consumer Privacy Acts" or "CPA Laws"). In general, these laws regulate how companies manage and protect consumer data, including the right to know if data is collected, to opt-out, to correct mistakes, to request deletion, and to receive alerts if data is compromised during a breach.

BOOJI deeply values transparency and wanted to take this opportunity to address the requirements of the Consumer Privacy Acts, which require businesses to disclose sales of personal information in the states highlighted above.

This site is part of a larger program designed to respond to consumers' concerns over the amount of mail they receive, and it is the evolution of the ANA's Mail Preference Service created in 1971. For the purposes of this site, direct mail is divided into four categories: Credit Offers, Catalogs, Magazine Offers, and Other Mail Offers.
